A status report during a pandemic, and an “ask”.

Hello folks. Undoubtedly, you are feeling the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Here in Oregon, the governor has limited gatherings to 25 or less and has asked bars and restaurants to cease dine-in service for the next few weeks. Schools are closed to the end of the month, at least. It’s “interesting” times, to say the least, a mood I haven’t seen since 9/11.

I’m trying to be cautious but optimistic. I don’t want to feel that this is nothing, nor do I want to believe it’s the End Times. I try my best to give into fear. While I am relatively healthy, I don’t want to pass along the virus to someone else. I want to “flatten the curve”, so I’ve been limiting interpersonal interactions beyond the immediate household. I keep the social distance, and have only done sporadic errands…
